Scope of application:

Glow wire testing machines test components or parts of a product that may reach excessively high temperatures or ignite parts near them under faulty or overloaded conditions. The resulting thermal stress, the fire hazard is assessed using simulation techniques.

The glow wire testing machine heats the heating wire of the specified material (Ni80/Cr20) and shape with a large current to the test temperature (550 ℃ ~ 960 ℃) for 1min, and then scalds the test sample vertically with the specified pressure (1.0N) for 30s. Determine the fire hazard of finished electrical and electronic equipment by determining whether the product and bedding ignite or hold burning time; determine the ignitability, igniting temperature (GWIT), flammability and flammability index of solid insulating materials and other solid flammable materials ( GWFI).
